About us
The Law and Social Justice Academy has made social action our mission. We support our students to be leaders in school and the community, to prepare for the world of college and work, to be agents of social change, to promote justice and to do good works wherever possible. We seek out opportunities for civic engagement not only in school, but also with local leaders and community organizations. Our students’ voices matter, and need to be heard. Field trips are plentiful for those who are interested, and students gain real-life experience through internships and job-shadowing, participating in social action events, training to become first responders in the community and peer mentoring, among other activities.
